Carl-Johan Utsi

Carl-Johan Utsi is a Sámi photographer and storyteller from Jåhkåmåhkke (Swedish side of Sápmi), known for his work documenting Sámi culture, Arctic landscapes, and reindeer herding. Also work as a herder himself. One of his film (made together with Jenni Laiti) was exhibited at the Whitney Biennial 2024. Currently, he works with communications at Dáiddadallu, supporting Sámi artists with outreach and marketing.
