Yantong Li

Yantong Li (b.1998, Dali, China) is a cultural organizer, researcher, artist, and curator based in Toronto, Canada. He is an Master of Visual Studies (curatorial) candidate at the University of Toronto. Li works at the intersection of global infrastructure, geopolitics, myths and decolonization. Currently, Li’s work engages with ethnic minority cosmologies on Chinese borderlands and the concurrent dispersion of myths and minority languages across borders and through the Pacific. His current work is informed by the speculative potential of impossible utterances, interpretation and translation when different language regimes collide and dissolve into each other.
